"Inspire By Kelsey" is a collection of modern fiber art by Santa Cruz, CA artist, Kelsey Cerdas. Kelsey is a self taught painter who began experimenting with fiber in 2009. Inspired by textiles from her travels to Central and South America, Kelsey came up with an idea to combine her love for painting with fiber. In 2013 Kelsey opened her first online store on Etsy. Since then Kelsey’s designs have been featured in homes, hotels, restaurants, galleries, and retail spaces across the US and Internationally.
Kelsey’s unique designs are inspired by nature, travel, and design. She sources the highest quality wood, ethically sourced fiber to create a soft, textured canvas. Kelsey then “paints" her canvas by carefully hand dying each strand. The result is a stunning one of a kind piece of modern fiber wall art!

Each design is an one of a kind, original fiber art piece. Every fiber strand is hand dyed by the artist herself. A single piece can have hundreds or even thousands, of fiber strands!
