Open Studios is a self-guided tour that attracts thousands of visitors from near and far who learn about and purchase art straight from the source. Open Studios not only shines a light on the vast variety and sheer talent of visual artists in our community, it also ignites relationships, inspires conversations, and bridges gaps of understanding between art appreciators and creators, establishing connections that extend far beyond the tour.

Now in its 34th year, the Open Studios Art Tour is one of Santa Cruz County’s most anticipated annual art happenings. Each year hundreds of Open Studios artists throughout the county open their creative spaces to the public during the first three weekends of October.

A fun weekend for the whole family! The Capitola Art & Wine Festival combines Art, Wine, Music and Food, all in charming Capitola Village overlooking the Monterey Bay. Summer’s last hurrah, and truly a weekend in paradise!

Stroll the Festival and admire the talent of over 160 fine artists while sipping exceptional wines from 22 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries. Visit the Local Artisans Marketplace filled with locally handmade crafts and artisanal foods. The Festival Food Court offers a wide range of tantalizing options from oysters to Hawaiian Poke. The Kids Art & Music Area provides ongoing craft projects for the younger set, as well as musical play featuring MusicalMe. Enjoy fantastic entertainment all weekend, including local dance and performing arts groups, street performers, and live music. There’s something for everyone!

First Friday is a monthly art tour in Santa Cruz, CA. Stripe will be hosting Santa Cruz Artist, Kelsey Cerdas for the month of August. Reception will be held at Stripe on Friday, August 2 from 5-9PM. Art will be displayed and available for purchase during the entire month of August.
